There is also a wide variety of souvenirs including dried seafood caught locally,
and seasonal flowers such as carnations, roses, and else.

The soft water collected from Kawazu Nanadaru Nature Reserve is one of Kawazu town's popular souvenirs. You can buy this delicious mineral water in a 500ml bottle!


Fine sea salt, crystalized over hot-spring heat using the pure sea water obtained off the shores of Shobuzawa in Kawazu, is the perfect seasoning for your cooking, or even just sprinkling over vegetables or fruit!

We have handkerchiefs, towels, and furoshiki wrapping cloths decorated with Kawazu Sakura designs.

The Amagi mountain base, with its abundance of natural resources, is famous for being one of the finest producers of wasabi in Japan. Natural wasabi, with it's sterilizing effect, has been much-prized for it's essential supporting role in sushi since ancient times.
